While we both love a big party, we are unable to accomodate any extra guests than what we've already planned for. If your invitation includes a plus one your envelope will have 'and guest' written next to your name. Otherwise, we ask that only those who names are written on the envelope RSVP and attend.

Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults only event and we aren't able to accomodate children (under 14) on the day. We appreciate your understanding and hope you'll still be able to celebrate with us.

The most important gift to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on the day, which, for many of you will mean travelling quite a distance! However, if you with to give a gift we will gratefully accept a contribution to our wishing well.

You always need a wet weather plan in Tassie! We have back up plans for both our ceremony and reception, so you can leave the gumboots at home.

We ask all guests to please arrive at the ceremony by 3:00pm so we can get started on time at 3:30pm (yes - even though we know Victoria is always late!)

The dress code is black tie... but think bold, bright and bougie! But remember, the first rule to looking good is feeling good, so our best advice is to wear something that makes you feel confident and will still allow you to slay the dance floor later on.

To make things smoother (and avoid parking woes!) we've organised busses for all guests to the Royal Botanic Gardens for the ceremony, and from the ceremony to In The Hanging Gardens for our reception. Busses will leave from Macquarie Wharf 2 (outside the Cruise Ship terminal) at 2:30pm, so please arrive by 2:25pm at the very latest. We've organised Red Decker buses to take our guests on a mini tour of Hobart before the ceremony - the city we fell in love in! They will then drop guests at the top of the Botanic Gardens by 3:00pm and staff will guide you to the ceremony location.
